Walter Robb, the former co-CEO of Whole Foods, will be the keynote speaker at The 2017 TMA Annual, sponsored by Conway MacKenzie.
Tying in directly with the conference's theme of "Disruption and Its Ripple Effect," you will not want to miss Mr. Robb's views on Amazon's recent purchase of Whole Foods and the impact this is having on the retail sector.
Mr. Robb's passion for organic, all-natural produce began over 40 years ago, gaining experience as a retailer, farmer, and consultant throughout his career. In 1976, he opened the local grocery store Mountain Marketplace in Weaverville, California. Over 15 years later he sold the store to Whole Foods and worked his way up the chain of command to become co-CEO alongside Whole Foods founder John Mackey.
Within the role he oversaw the operations of six of Whole Foods Market's twelve regions, as well as purchasing, marketing, distribution, and quality standards.
Register for the conference to hear Mr. Robb speak about his experience in the food retail industry.
